At No.42 Interiors, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 

The purpose of this policy is to explain why and when we collect personal information about people who visit our website, what that data is and how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure.

How is your information collected?

Information about you is obtained when you use our website, when you register with our website, when you place an order (either through our website or via the telephone) enter a competition, join our mailing list, request a catalogue, submit feedback or apply for a vacancy.

What we collect.

The list below gives you an idea of the type of information we may collect from you.

Your contact information, including your name, username, home/billing address (delivery address if different), email address and phone numbers.

IP address, email click through information, and information regarding what web pages are accessed and when. 

Information about what you have purchased from us and how you paid, whether it’s one of our products or a service, for example a colour consultation.

If you make a purchase online, over the telephone or for mail-order direct from our showroom, your card information is not held by us. It is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

How we use the information. 

We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes, for example;

  • to process your order, and carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us
  • to deal with any queries
  • to track deliveries
  • to deal with entries into a competition
  • to seek your views or comments on the products or services we provide
  • to review past purchases.

Your order history enables us to tailor and improve our product range, services and marketing information to your requirements (e.g. special offers or promotions).

We also use the information, if you opted in, to keep you up to date with No.42 Interiors promotions and product launches, sending emails or mailing literature as appropriate. You can opt-out at any time.

Who has access to your information?

We may pass on your information to our third-party service providers and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing operational tasks and providing services to you on our behalf. For example, delivery of your order or fulfilment of a made-to-order purchase. However, when we use third-party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary for them to deliver the service.

Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have opted-in to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

When you are completing your order with us and using our secure online payment page, placing the order by telephone or for direct mail-order via our Showroom, your order is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. We may transfer your personal information to a third-party: as part of a sale process, of some or all, of our business and assets to any third-party; or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation; or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation; or to enforce or apply our terms and conditions; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers and supporters.

Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
